Our Mission

mission

Drug Development is known to be highly costly and ethically questionable. One drug cost about 1,3 billion US$ with 12 years of development. Here, the human clinical trials are the costly part because of the high failure rate of more than 90% of potential drug candidates. The reason is, that in vitro and in vivo studies do not fully mimic human tissue physiology.

ProblemSolution

With our first fully functional artificial blood vessels we will shorten the clinical trial phase by enabling an efficient preselection of drug candidates, therefore significantly reducing costs. Ultimately, this will enable a faster and cheaper way to commercialization for our customers while also reducing the amount of necessary animal trials.
